According to Knesset ruling no. 2699, passed on January 9th, 2011, the Fire and Rescue Services were transferred to the authority of the Ministry of Public Security. As part of this change, the Ministry of Public Security is working towards renewing and upgrading the force's fleet of firefighting vehicles.
The Ministry of Public Security is therefore inviting suppliers to participate in a tender for the supply of "Sa'ar" model firefighting vehicles. This also includes providing insurance and maintenance services, all as detailed in the tender documents, as well as its appendixes and the agreement.
This invitation is extended to both men and women. Suppliers who have inquiries about the tender, can send their questions via e-mail to Mr. Asaf Aharon, coordinator of the Tenders Committee at: asafa@mops.gov.il by Wednesday, February 29th, 2012, at precisely 12:00 o'clock.
The replies will be organized and published together on the Ministry of Public Security's website no later than Wednesday, March 14th, 2012. The last date for submitting offers is Thursday, March 29th, 2012, at precisely 12:00.
